What makes a DJ an Awesome Wedding DJ???

Picture
Keep in mind this is by personal opinion as it is a blog, and not meant to offend anyone, however if you are easily offended or disagree, then you may want to stop reading now...

The mobile DJ business is a very saturated market.
When it comes to a DJ everyone knows a DJ or has a friend or family member that's a DJ.
However, there are many types of DJ's, and the only way to distinguish between different DJ's is to meet your DJ then see if there personality and engaging conversation fits your needs. That of course, and by asking questions.

Our top 6 things that we feel make for an "Awesome" Wedding DJ
  1. A great wedding DJ can pick the right songs, but an awesome DJ can pick the right songs and place them at the right moments.
  2. An awesome Wedding DJ uses other engaging activities to make a wedding more fun such as "The Shoe Game", Limbo, Battle of the Sexes Dance Off, and or maybe a drinking game "Thunderstruck". All dependent on what you want!
  3. Another thing an outstanding or awesome wedding DJ does is use ice breakers and funny or fun announcements to keep you and your guests engaged. A wedding with a monotone DJ announcing "They will now cut the cake" is really boring..
  4. A professional or awesome wedding DJ is for the most part organized, having all of your event songs ready and organized as well as the order of your events.
  5. An awesome wedding DJ directs the attention toward the Bride & Groom without trying to be the center of attention.
  6. Believe it or not some people who call themselves DJ's, don't actually DJ (auto-played music programs can mix all by themselves). An awesome Wedding DJ mixes, beat matches, and transitions etc... song to song to song. As well as reads the crowd to know what to play to get your guests on the dance floor.
